Bar Stools, Getting Dressed, and Visiting Columbus. . .

I love IKEA!! I have been wanting bar stools for a long time. I don't know why, but bar stools are a lot of money. I even looked at Walmart, too much money there too. So a few weeks ago I saw these bar stools at IKEA. They were each $14.00. Now they aren't the best barstools ever, but they serve there purpose. I love them, and my kids do too. We use them for breakfast and lunch. Seth will sit on them when I am making dinner, and look at books. They also come in handy when the boys and I are making cookies or other stuff together. They have been well worth the purchase. I do have to admit that I am addicted to IKEA. Its a good thing that I live about 2 hours from the closest one.
The other day I was helping Isaac to get dressed. Seth then came in Isaac's room with his pants on. As you can see in the picture he put them on his head. I thought it was too cute that he would try to get himself dressed. He was so proud of his accomplishment, that he would not let me take them off. He wore his pants on top of his head all morning. I took them off when he went down for a nap. I love that Seth is trying to be more grown up.
Andy was asked to take part in a Medical Recruitment workshop at Ohio State University. We live about 4 1/2 hours driving distance from our old home in Columbus, so we decided to all go. It was a really fast trip, because Andy had to be back to work on Wednesday. We weren't able to see all of our friends, but we did see a few. We stayed at Easton Town Center, a fun shopping and dinning place. We got to eat at the Cheesecake factory, and Isaac's favorite sandwich place Potbelly's, and I just had to make a stop at the clothes store H & M. It was fun to see our old stomping ground in Hilliard. We do feel however, that we have moved on. It felt kind of like going back to High School and visiting after you graduate. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Columbus and all of the memories we have there.

Jess, we have the exact same barstools! We were facing the same issue because we had to buy 5 barstools!! Did you guys have a hard time putting them together too? Or is it just us :)

Ali,
Andy put them together, he did have to do a few steps over again. But we only had to do 2 bar stools. I think they are great for the price!! One day I figure we will be able to get better ones but these work great for now. Another major plus is that they are easy to clean!!:-)

I am too a fan of those barstools, thanks for finding them for me too! Its so cute to see how big Seth is getting and how much he is trying to be like Issac. We're happy you guys were able to go visit old friends in Columbus, what a great family trip, even if it was quick.

It was good seeing you guys while you were visiting! I had my baby the next day (tuesday, Oct 9th!) We had another little boy and we named him Spencer.
(I think I'm already starting to feel outnumbered too!)
