Thankful For Friends

Thanksgiving comes so quickly after Halloween that I usually don't have much time to ponder on what I am thankful for. So this year I am starting early. To get more into the spirit of Thanksgiving, I have been thinking how thankful I am for friends.
I am so thankful for Isaac and Seth's friends. We moved into such a great neighborhood with lots of boys and girls Isaac and Seth's age. They also have met friends through church and preschool. It makes me so happy to see them so happy when they are talking about or playing with their friends. I was so worried about the boys when we had to move from Columbus to Michigan. Isaac had to leave some really good friends. But I feel that my prayers were answered. They both really made the transition well.
I am so thankful for my friends. I have different friends from different era's in my life. It is fun to still be able to keep in contact with friends from elementary school, high school, work at TNI, College, Columbus, and now Michigan. I am so thankful for all that my friends do for me. Just today I got a phone call from a very sweet friend of mine. She called just to talk, that really made my day. It was hard for me to move away from family and friends in Utah when we moved to Columbus. I met so many neat girls, that I hope to stay in contact with through out the years. It was again hard for me to move away from my friends in Columbus and go to Michigan. But I have again met so many wonderful people here in Michigan and hope to keep up friendships with them. When you live away from family, your friends become your family. I am so thankful that I have been blessed with such great friends. I only hope that I can be as thoughtful and helpful to them as they are to me.
I am very much thankful for friends!!
