A Different Kind of Tag. . .

Memory Lane...the tag that gets everyone involved
I got this from my friend Laura's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I remember hearing about you from some of the other med wives and feeling like we were always at different functions. If I was there you weren't, if you were there I wasn't. It is crazy that we never got to know each other. I wish we would have also because I think we would have had fun. I am glad we are friends through our blogging. It really does make you feel like you know a person.

lets see....it seems like most of the times I've seen you have been at dinners or events at Grandma Olsen's house...I still remember your wedding lunch and reception--they were both beautiful :) I do feel like I have gotten to know you better through your blog!

I have a bunch of memories so I am having a hard time deciding on one. There were all sorts of fun memories at work, being roommates, and then being a brides maid at your wedding. I remember when you and Andy were starting to date very seriously and talking about marriage. I remember buying a brides magazine and loving the excitement with you. Then, planning the wedding and everything seemed so fun for me!

I remember going to your wedding and how beautiful it was. I wish we could see you more often, but I do enjoy reading your blog and keeping up with you that way.

Hi Jess! I think one of my favorite times with you was when we met in the airport on a trip out to UT when I was expecting Megan; it was one of the first times we really talked. I also loved having dinner at your home and all the get togethers we had. And my baby shower! That was so great. I was always so happy to see you in the halls at church too. I have lots of great memories with you and miss you lots.

I remember going shopping, out to dinner, date nights together, a trip to Cedar Point (how can we forget) and sadly helping clean your house when it flooded. I wish we lived closer now and could do play dates.

how do I pick one memory of a long friendship!! especially when we were inseperable as kids... One of the ones that sticks out the most for me, is playing Burger King in your lilac bushes, and serving all the neighbor boys leaf and dirt hamburgers. I also remember being at your house everyday in the summer and having "girl cheese" sandwiches and then "brains" with cheese on them for dinner. I remember sleeping over a lot and having our nightly chocolate shakes that we would make in your blender... and then cleaning it up!! I remember your dad always making me laugh, and when Angela was born. Eating cherries always takes me back to your backyard and your cherry tree, and all the belly aches I got from eating too many! I remember 4th grade was so sad when you moved! It wasn't the same without you! I am glad that I can catch up with you now!

Well, we haven't known each other long, but that just will mean that the memories will be much easier to recall. So here it goes:

- I love chatting with you during Sunday School when I am sure we should both be somewhere else.

-I had so much fun coming over and helping you cook dinner for your neighbor. It was just great to do something I enjoy (cooking) with a good friend.

-I also really enjoy exchanging recipes through our blogs.

Wow, Jessica! You're all grown up! (Of course, as you were never much younger than me in the first place.)

This is Bethany Buck. I remember playing at your house with all the other kids in the neighborhood. You house was kind of a grand central station for the Orem 25th/2nd ward, was it not?

I also remember your parents handing out toothbrushes for Halloween. So awesome. Ü

I remember coming to your wedding reception, which was beautiful. I also remember you at Aunt Arlene's house for Adam's farewell or homecoming from his mission or maybe both.
