Stuffed Pepper's

If you like Green Peppers,
you will love this recipe!
This recipe has very little ingredients, is very easy to put together, and is very Yummy.
One of our family favorite's,



Stuffed Peppers

-
4 to 5 large bell peppers
- 1 pound of lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 3/4 shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

1. Cut thin slice from stem end of each bell pepper to remove top of pepper. Remove the insides of pepper and rinse. Cook peppers in enough boiling water to cover, boil for 5 minutes. Drain.
2. Cook beef and onion in skillet. When beef is cooked, rinse in a strainer to remove grease. Put back in skillet and add cooked rice, garlic, and 1 cup of tomato sauce. Cook until hot.
3. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
4. Stuff peppers with beef mixture, Stand peppers upright in baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over peppers.
5. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Then uncover and put cheese on top, bake for another 15 minutes.
