Gull Meadow Farm

Now that my oldest, Isaac, is in school all day,
Seth and I try to go and do fun things at least once a week.

This week we went with a friend to the
GULL MEADOW FARM
in Richland, MI.

We started off going on a wagon ride to the
apple orchards.

They took us to the Honey Crisp Apple area of the Orchard.
I was so excited Honey Crisp are my very favorite Apples!

We got to pick apples for about 15 minutes,
are group filled two huge buckets worth of apples.

Then we each got to pick a apple right off of a tree
and eat it
right there and then!
They were so sweet and juicy, YUM!

After the wagon ride, we each got to pick 10 apples each to take home.
Then they gave us all freshly home-made donuts and apple cider made right on site at the
GULL MEADOW FARM.
Oh, how I LOVE FALL.

We then were able to walk around their play area.
Seth went down a huge tube slide,
we went in a fun corn maze,
sat on a HUGE CHAIR,

Seth was able to ride the PUMPKIN TRAIN,

then we walked around a looked at all of the fun pumpkin's.
SUPPER MAN and BATMAN!

The boys really thought this one was funny!
THE PUMPKIN POTTY.

After we were done we each got to pick out a little pumpkin from the
BIG PUMPKIN BARREL to take home.

If you can believe it, all of this only cost us $4 a person!
So I payed a total of $8 plus I bought here:

And to make my trip complete,
we had to look around in the ALL FALL MARKET STORE.
Where we bought a few treats to take home to Isaac and Dad.
(pumpkin donuts, and a Carmel apple)

We had such a great time, even though the weather was pretty cold
and off an on sprinkles.
The cold just added to the over all fall atmosphere.

That looks like so much fun! I need to find out if they even have any kind of farms here in New Mexico. Makes me miss Ohio.
