Santa, Christmas Party Dessert, and SNOW!!

What a crazy week we have had!! I love Christmas but it does bring a lot of craziness and stress. I just sent off the last of my Christmas cards, next on my list is the neighbor gifts :-) The best part of the neighbor gifts is delivering them, I love catching up with what everyone is up too.
Yesterday, the YMCA that I go to with the kids had a Christmas party. They made everyone a yummy pancake breakfast and Santa came! Seth would not sit on Santa's lap, he was a little freaked out. But Isaac did, and he told Santa that he wanted a Train table. We will have to see if Santa can fit that in his Sleigh!

We also had a Church Christmas party last night. I had to take the kids alone, Andy was at work all day and night(poor guy). They had a Choir come and sing Christmas carols, and the kids got to make some fun Christmas crafts. I was asked to put my dessert I brought on my blog, so this is for you Liz and Gwen:

Brownie-PB cups Trifle:

2 (3.5 oz) instant chocolate pudding

2 (8 oz) cartons of cool whip
1 brownie mix (Ghirardelli with Chocolate chips)
6 big Reese's PB cups(chopped in small pieces)

**Cook brownies and let cool. Make pudding and chill. Divide brownies into thirds. Break pieces of 1/3 of brownies and put in the bottom of a glass bowl or trifle bowl. Put 1/3 of chocolate pudding on top then a 1/3 of cool whip. Sprinkle chopped PB cups on top and then repeat layers 2 more times(you should end up with the PB cups sprinkled on the top.) Refrigerate until ready to serve.

SNOW!! Yes we got a little, 12 inches over night. It was enough snow for our church to be canceled. We had the best day playing in it. Isaac and Andy made a Snow igloo and I shoveled the walks with Andy's help. I did get some good pictures of it, but I do not have a digital camera, so you will have to wait to see them when I get the film developed. The snow looks so pretty, and the sun came out and made it warm enough to go outside and play in it. I love snow days!!

I can't wait to try the dessert...and i can't believe that you don't have a digital camera! Maybe you will have to ask Santa for one of those...

i make that same dessert, only with crushed up heath bars on the top! yummy! and yes, i was thinking the same thing about that maybe you should ask santa for a digital camera! of course i know that i could, but i fee like i couldn't live without mine. oh, and we loved the christmas card, gracie was so excited to see isaac's picture, she made me hang it down low on our christmas card wall so that she could look at it whenever she wanted to!

Andy, Give your wife a digital camera for Christmas!!

with a really big memory card so she doesn't have to erase it all the time. And make sure it has at least 8 megapixels.

I order you as your younger sister (does that hold any weight?). Seriously Andy, this is beginning to border on "Unrighteous Dominion." In fact I think there is a short period of time allowed for you to update your family's technology and then after that you have to speak with your Bishop. And you are way past due on the digital camera thing.

Wait-- don't you guys have that cybershot? Well, even then, I think it only has like 2 megapixels, so you need to update it anyway.

6 shopping days left!!
