I love Summer!

Since living here in Michigan I have forgotten how nice it is in the summer.
Today was the perfect Michigan summer day.
Blue sky's, fluffy white clouds, all the trees and grass are so green, and the temp was 75 degrees with a nice cool breeze and my favorite part. . .NO humidity ( it is no secret that I hate humidity).

The boys and I spent most of the day outside.
In the afternoon we just camped out in our backyard.
Swimming pool up, sprinkler on, water table set up, and a blanket for me to read on (I am just about done reading 'Eclipse')

Seth put on like three shirts today and would not let me take them off.
So here he is with three shirts on soaking wet. He is such a stubborn little boy.

So I have had a few requests from family/friends to post a picture of my new haircut.
Since I am the photographer of the family, I don't get many pictures of myself.
Here is one that Isaac took of me today.

I took this one of Isaac and I together. I tried to get Seth in the picture but it didn't work out.

This is our version of a water park.
Isaac and Seth had so much fun doing this.

So here's to Summer!! I am so excited for all the nice days we have ahead of us.
I hope that you are all enjoying your summer. :-)

Love the Olsen Waterpark, we'll be over to join in soon! By the way, love the new haircut too.

I love your haircut! I love the waterpark too (esp since you get to read while they play!)

cute hair!! Please tell me that you have days where the kids do nothing but watch TV in their pajamas, or else I may cry.

is this the first time you are reading eclipse? You'll have to tell me how you like it.

oh, and I love that Seth has followed in the Andy tradition of wearing multiple shirts!

I love summer too! Also, I did make my own strawberry jam. I just followed the recipe for "Cooked Jam" (not freezer jam) that comes inside the box of pectin.
