My very creative and sweet neighbor/friend,
had a Kids Election Day Party!
All of the kids were able to vote on their favorite candidate.
All of the kids also voted before election day on
what the lunch menu would be.
This was the ballot:
The Menu that won was:
-McCain Mac n Cheese
-Fiscal Budget Pinching Grapes
-Grand Old Party Goldfish
-Constitutional Cookies

After Lunch they were read a book by my friend on the election,
then they made flags as a craft project.

what a cute idea. The kids at calvn's school all had a mock election. I asked Calvin who he voted for and he said, "I don't know."
Very cute! What a fun idea!
Gotta love Rachel, she is wonderwoman!
you and your friends are amazing. I hope someday I can do something like that!
Gabe was very involved with the election too, it was great!

Love the kids election party... great idea from your friend.
Ya, I would love to do the blurb thing.. I just don't think it is compatible to do through my mac website so I will probably have to change my blog to blogspot but I will still keep my webpage. How did you like your book you got from blurb?
That is such a wonderful idea and a wonderful way to give other Mom's the chance to go vote.
Cute idea! What a nice friend. I bet I would fit right in with all your friends back there. It sounds like you guys have a lot of fun together! Also, I like the new look of your blog.
I can't believe how cute that is! What a fun idea!
