My very creative and sweet neighbor/friend,had a Kids Election Day Party!
All of the kids were able to vote on their favorite candidate.
All of the kids also voted before election day on
what the lunch menu would be.
This was the ballot:
The Menu that won was:-McCain Mac n Cheese
-Fiscal Budget Pinching Grapes
-Grand Old Party Goldfish
-Constitutional Cookies
After Lunch they were read a book by my friend on the election,then they made flags as a craft project.
Aren't these cookies great?!?
They tasted yummy too :-)
The best part of this Election party
and one of the main purposes of it was to
get Moms to go and vote.
That's right this Saint of a women watched all of our kids while we all voted!
She is amazing!!
They finished up the party by watching Charlie Brown's Election movie.
This Kids election party was such a great idea,
and they all LOVED it!!
Oh, and By-the-way,
the results for the Kids Election of our Neighborhood:
McCain WON!
