To the Market We Go . . .

'To market, to market, to buy a fat pig,
Home again, home again, dancing a jig;
To market, to market, to buy a fat hog;
Home again, home again, jiggety-jog;

To market, to market, to buy a plum bun,
Home again, home again, market is done.'

There were no pigs or hogs bought on this Market trip.
however I am sure that Isaac and Seth would not have minded to bring home a pig.

On our walk to the local Farmers Market this morning Seth ran up to every by-stander he saw and told them,
'We goin' to the Market'
He was so excited, with his bag in hand ready to fill with treats.

The Farmers market is actually located just right behind our house,
about a 5 minute walk.
Every Thursday local farmers, bakers, and other sellers of goodies set up shop for the morning and afternoon.

We have been going every Thursday to pick up some fresh homegrown fruits and Vegies.
I don't have a garden, so this is the next best thing.

We LOVE the Farmers Market!

Today we bought for $20.00
-1 Huge Zuchinni
-1 other kind of Zuchinni, forgot the name?
-Homemade Blueberry jam
-Honey BBQ Beef Jerkey
-Michigan Cherries
-BlueBerries
-Snow Peas
-Whole Wheat bread
-Cinnamon Swirl Whole Wheat Bread
