My younger brother Kevin just returned home from serving a 2 year full-time mission for our church. He was serving in Sacramento, CA and was working with the Hmong people.
He had a wonderful mission and learned so much. He now speaks Hmong. It is so wild to hear him speak this language. The Hmong language looks like this:
Nyob zoo. Koj nyob li cas?
Hi! How are you?

Yeej hu li ntawd.
Yes.

Koj los saib tus noog uas txawv txawv no.
Come and look at this strange bird.

Kuv nyeem tau lus Hmoob.
I can read Hmong.

Kevin's name in Hmong is this Txawj Zoo

I am so proud of Kevin and all of his hard work and dedication through out his mission. He is such a great example to Andy and I, and our boys.
I have been so sad this weekend knowing that he is home in Utah with my family, and we are here in Michigan. I wish we could be with him and I could give him a hug.
We love you Kevin and we can't wait to see you, hopefully soon:-)

It's so sad being far from family. I know the feeling. Hey, what is your e-mail address? I don't have it saved anymore.
