Isaac and his buddy Sam went to a two day summer camp
where they learned all about The Life of A Knight!

Isaac had so much fun at this camp. They made shields, helmets, and swords.
I asked him what they learned about and this is what I could get out of him: knights protect the princesses, kill the dragons, fight the bad guys, and live in the castle.
Sounds about right to me:-)
Today they were able to watch two men in full knight gear having a 'pretend' sword fight.
Then the princess knighted them all.
Isaac told me, now that he is a real knight he can become King when he is older if he follows all the rules and is a good knight and protects all the princesses from the bad guys.
The Grand Rapids Public Museum did such a great job with this camp. Isaac loved it!
